BROOM BIG PIT
A 22-acre Staffordshire water, Broom Big Pit holds roughly 400 carp. Twelve well-spaced swims give anglers room to run long sessions in comfort, whether chasing numbers or big specimens. Modern facilities and fencing make it a place anglers return to again and again.

At 1.7 acres, Malvern View is a clear, clay-dug pool with around 120 carp from mid-doubles up to 32lb. Despite its size, Malvern View regularly produces strong, hard-fighting fish.

Rosie's Retreat
Rosie’s Retreat offers a unique mix of 25–30 carp between 12lb and 25lb alongside 60 Wels catfish ranging from 20lb to 95lb. This dual-species water provides variety for anglers, with the chance of a steady carp run or a powerful battle with one of its huge catfish.

Willow Lake
When anglers ask where can I catch 40lb carp in the UK, the answer is Willow Lake. This 10-acre gravel pit holds 200 carp to 40lb. With 20 well-designed swims, rich silt beds, and mature margins, it offers the ultimate specimen challenge. A designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, Willow Lake observes a closed season from 15 March to 15 June each year.

HELGA'S CREEK
At 1.2 acres, Helga’s Creek may be small, but it’s stocked with around 90 carp up to an impressive 37lb. The water offers a mix of features that keep sessions interesting, with both margin spots and open water producing results. Its manageable size makes it a great venue for anglers who enjoy observation and fine-tuned tactics. Despite its intimacy, Helga’s Creek has a reputation for producing specimen fish that punch well above the venue’s scale.

Lol’s Lagoon spans 1.3 acres and reaches depths of up to 18ft, creating a very different challenge within the Leigh Sinton complex. With around 90 carp to 35lb, the depth variations and underwater features provide plenty of opportunities for technical angling. The lake is well maintained, with secure swims and comfortable access for visitors. For anglers who like fishing waters that demand thought and adaptability, Lol’s Lagoon is a rewarding option.
