Lake Rules

Listed below are the rules for each venue. Simply click the name of the lake to view.

*Under NO CIRMCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE enter any of our waters FOR ANY REASON at all. Anyone caught doing so will immediately have their access revoked and will be asked to leave the venue. This applies to both exclusive hire and syndicate venues. Arrow Meadow Fishery will NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY for any accidents, injuries or loss incurred.

The use of the OMC Magic Twig is STRICTLY PROHIBITED on any of our waters and anyone caught using this device will be asked to leave immediately and be banned from ALL venues.

**NEW RULES**

Zig fishing is not permitted – no exceptions.

Catfish specific Rules
Hooks  1/0 up to 3/0 are allowed . These braid mainline permitted with a minimum 30lb mono mainline and a short (10 inch) braid hook length of minimum 70lb braid. The short hook length stops the braid cutting into the fish. Live baits are allowed.

Our philosophy here at Arrow Meadow is one of positivity, friendship, courtesy and to ensure the best for both our fish and our members. Please abide by the following rules.

Note: Arrow Meadow Fisheries reserve the right to change the rules at any time, anyone found breaking these rules are subject to having their membership revoked without refund.

GENERAL RULES

  1. NO GUESTS (other than the spouse or child of a Member) FOR ANY REASON Breaking this rule will result in an instant ban.
  2. STRICTLY – No drugs
  3. STRICTLY – No heavy drinking
  4. STRICTLY – No loud noise or loud radios
  5. A 5 mph speed restriction is in place on all sites.
  6. Please park in designated car parking areas only. Do not drive or park on the grass verges or any grassed areas.
  7. The otter fencing is electric and is ‘Live’ from dusk till dawn. For your safety and to ensure the fence maintains its capability to keep otters out, do not:
    • Lean items against the fence.
    • Pass items over the fence.
    • Lean on the fence.
  8. Gate codes are confidential to members and MUST NOT be shared.
  9. Gates MUST be kept closed at all times. Close all gates immediately after use, no exceptions.
  10. Please keep toilet facilities clean and tidy.
  11. ALL litter and rubbish (including cigarette ends) MUST be taken home. Any member found fishing in the proximity of litter (whether it’s theirs or not) will be held responsible for it.
  12. Bivvies must be set up in swim boundaries.
  13. Members must have a suitable digital device with them at all times to provide membership QR code when requested.
  14. Memberships are non-transferable. Any member found breaking this rule will have their membership revoked without refund.
  15. No BBQ’s, fires, or Kelly Kettles to be used on grassed areas (use gravel area only).
  16. Reserving swims between members is not permitted.
  17. The maximum number of rods permitted is 2 per angler on Leigh Sinton, Malvern View and Blueberry Fields unless quiet then 3 is allowed. Max 3 rods for larger waters such as the Arrow Pit and Willow Lake
  18. Nets, slings and cradles must be fully dry before arrival at all venues. If a dip is on site it must be used.
  19. Rods must never be left unattended. However, swims can be vacated for a max of 2 hours at the member’s own risk (for shopping etc)
  20. All swims are for one angler only (including partner/spouse / child and dogs).
  21. You are allowed to bring ONE non-fishing partner/spouse / with you to the fishery, subject to the following rules:
    • Guests under the age of 16 are permitted on all venues for free and can use one extra supervised rod, float or carp permitted
    • Only one partner/spouse / child per member allowed onto the fishery at any one time.
    • Syndicate Members are solely accountable and accept all responsibility for their partner/spouse / child when on the fishery.
    • Partner/spouse / child are subject to ALL fishery rules and must exhibit appropriate conduct and behaviour.
    • No additional rods or bivvies are allowed on site to accommodate your partner/spouse.
    • Children under 16 should be supervised at ALL times and MUST be accompanied
      to/from toilet facilities by an adult.
  22. Dogs are permitted:
    • Under no circumstances should dogs be left unattended.
    • Dogs MUST remain in swim boundaries or walked by owner on a lead.
    • Keep dogs away from the otter fencing between the hours of dusk-till-dawn.
  23. No wading. In places the water is deep. Deep water is dangerous.
  24. All customers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency rod licence and must show them on demand to agents acting on behalf of the Environment Agency.
  25. No pleasure or rowing boats allowed on the water at any time.
  26. No fish to be introduced or removed
  27. No rods to be left unattended or left under the supervision of another angler. Your rods – your responsibility.


BAIT AND TACKLE

  1. Mainline and end tackle:
    • A minimum breaking strain of 15lb (regardless of your chosen tactic i.e. surface fishing etc)
    • Hooks – Maximum size 4 minimum size 10
    • o No fixed lead rigs or leadcore leaders- drop off system AT ALL TIMES please when fishing close to reeds/weed beds or any other snags.
    • No braided mainlines except for use with a marker/spod rod.
  2. Bait bans:
    • No maggots/casters between 1st April and 1st December
    • No nuts. This includes ground bait and method mixes
    • Particles must be correctly prepared (if it floats it’s no good regardless of who you purchased it from)
    • No shelf-life boilies.

CARP CARE

  1. All anglers should carry a carp care anaesthetic (Propolis is ideal).
  2. Should it be difficult to remove a hook, anglers should have suitable snippers to cut the hook-point. Damage to the fish will be minimised in this way.
  3. Anglers should have a bucket filled with lake water before they commence fishing.
  4. All anglers should a soft-walled cradle and net suitable for specimen sized fish. Unhooking mats or framed cradles are not acceptable.
  5. All anglers should have their own weigh sling and scales. NO FISH TO BE RETAINED for longer than 15 minutes – instant ban.
  6. No sacking of fish or use of a floatation sling overnight.
  7. No angler should ever be standing with a fish. The use of nets, cradles and slings should be used to safely return any captures.
  8. Fish must be rested in the net for 10 minutes min before being removed from the water for weighing and pictures, please slow down (have a brew!) before lifting fish out.


TIME RESTRICTIONS

  1. Maximum 72 hours fishing, no return within 72 hours on any venue unless quiet and also bailiffs final decision.
  2. Max 7 days at any venue only if quiet and also bailiffs final decision.
  3. Max 5 anglers on Blueberry Fields, max 5 on Malvern View, 5 max on any Leigh Sinton water, max 14 on the Arrow Pit, max 18 on Willow Lake.


IN CLOSING…………

Our fishery has rules to ensure members enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fishing and to promote fish care. The syndicate rules are for the benefit of all. Therefore, the rules set out here are non-negotiable & rule breaking WILL NOT be tolerated under any circumstances.

Members found to have broken rules persistently will have their membership revoked, without refund.

Members found to have broken the rules highlighted in ‘BOLD’ will have their membership revoked with immediate effect, without refund.

The Non-Negotiable Rules –

  • Max. 2 anglers per booking, on site (STRICTLY NO VISITORS ALLOWED)
  • X3 rods per angler- Main Pool
  • X1 rod per anger- Pleasure Pool
  • No nuts or shelf like boilies. (We can supply house pellets and house boilies- Dave Mallin Pungent Squid Freezer Bait if requested- at cost).
  • ONE MAN Bivvies Only – to be erected in swim areas only.
  • 20% deposit required upon booking (NON REFUNDABLE). Balance required upon arrival of booking (cash only)
  • Cancellations must be made in writing to info@arrowmeadowfishery.com.
  • Gated access to the fishery- intercom system during daylight hours. Gates locked during night time hours (intercom unavailable). * Due to the private and discreet location of the fishery, we ask our guests to be discreet- limiting the traffic in and out of the fishery.
  • All vehicles to park in fishery car park at all times
  • You must bring suitable Nets/mats/slings for 40 lb fish these will be inspected on arrival and they must be fully dry before use
  • Nets on pleasure pool MUST NOT be brought onto the main pool (& Vice versa)
  • STRICTLY no rods to be left unattended or in the care of another angler
  • All fish to be landed/netted and released/returned using slings provided
  • STRICTLY No drugs
  • STRICTLY No heavy drinking
  • STRICTLY No loud noise or radios
  • Fires are permitted in the Burn Bins supplied-ONLY
  • All litter to be taken home by anglers- we do not provide bins
  • Experienced anglers on main pool- as large fish
  • All rigs and setup must be checked and verified by Alan to be safe, prior to fishing
  • Micro barbs permitted. However, anglers must be prepared to cut hooks with snips if required.
  • Any snagged fish MUST be reported to Alan immediately
  • All gates to be kept closed AT ALL TIMES
  • Stay within the perimeter of the main field- Do not cross the bridge
  • Shower/toilet block must be kept and left clean
  • Please keep the location of the fishery private. Please do not share the location via social media or any other forms of communication.
  • All fish captures to be photographed on both sides in main pool and pics emailed to info@arrowmeadowfishery.com (please include accurate weights).
  • Fish care –  number one priority

WE OPERATE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ANY BLATANT DISREGARD OF OUR RULES.

PLEASE NOTE Arrow Meadow Fishery DO NOT accept any responsibility for injury, damage or theft to vehicles or equipment. We reserve the right to refuse admission and amend the rules at anytime. Abusive behaviour and swearing will NOT be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any time.

The Non-Negotiable Rules –

  • Max. 4 anglers per booking, on site (STRICTLY NO VISITORS ALLOWED)
  • X3 rods per angler
  • No nuts or shelf like boilies. (We can supply house pellets and house boilies- Dave Mallin Pungent Squid Freezer Bait if requested- at cost price ).
  • ONE MAN Bivvies Only- to be erected in swim areas only.
  • 20% deposit required upon booking (NON REFUNDABLE). Balance required upon arrival of booking (cash only)
  • Cancellations must be made in writing to info@arrowmeadowfishery.com.
  • Main Gate must be closed and locked at all times
  • All vehicles to park in fishery car park only
  • You must bring suitable Nets/mats/slings for 40 lb fish these will be inspected on arrival and they must be fully dry before use
  • STRICTLY no rods to be left unattended or in the care of another angler
  • All fish to be landed/netted and released/returned using slings provided
  • STRICTLY No drugs
  • STRICTLY No heavy drinking
  • STRICTLY No loud noise or radios
  • We allow bait boats and we feel they would be an advantage on this venue
  • No Fires are permitted
  • All litter to be taken home by anglers- we do not provide bins
  • Experienced anglers only
  • All rigs and setup must be checked and verified by Alan prior to fishing
  • Micro barbs permitted. However, anglers must be prepared to cut hooks with snips if required.
  • Any snagged fish MUST be reported to Alan immediately
  • All gates to be kept closed AT ALL TIMES
  • No access on foot to the out of bounds bank
  • Shower/toilet block must be kept and left clean
  • Please keep the location of the fishery private. Please do not share the location via social media or any other forms of communication.
  • All fish captures to be photographed on both sides in main pool and pics emailed to info@arrowmeadowfishery.com (please include accurate weights).
  • Fish care – number one priority
