Arrow Meadow Fishery Rules
- Bailiffs decision is final
- NO GUESTS (other than spouse or child of a member)
- Only Syndicate Members can purchase 24-hour tickets for guests via members log in
- STRICTLY – No drugs unless you have a medical exemption
- STRICTLY – No heavy drinking
- STRICTLY – No loud noise or loud radios – use a remote for alarms please
- No high beam lights or lasers
- All litter to be taken home by anglers- we do not provide bins ALL litter and rubbish (including cigarette ends) MUST be taken home. Any member found fishing in the proximity of litter (whether it’s theirs or not) will be held responsible for it.
- A 5-mph speed restriction is in place on all sites
- Please Park in designated car parking areas only. Do not drive or park on the grass verges or any grassed areas.
- The otter fencing is electric and is ‘Live’ from dusk till dawn. For your safety and to ensure the fence maintains its capability to keep otters out, do not:
- Lean items against the fence.
- Pass items over the fence.
- Lean on the fence.
- Gate codes are confidential and MUST NOT be shared.
- Close all gates immediately after use, no exceptions.
- Please keep the location of the fishery private. Please do not share the location via social media or any other forms of communication.
- Please keep toilet facilities clean and tidy.
- Bivvies must be set up in swim boundaries in winter
- Members must always have a suitable digital device with them to provide membership QR code or booking info
- No BBQ’s, fires, or Kelly Kettles to be used on grassed areas (use gravel area only).
- Provide all your own Nets, slings and cradles and they must be fully dry before arrival at all venues.
- Rods must never be left unattended. However, swims can be vacated for a max of 2 hours at the member’s own risk (for shopping etc)
- Dogs are permitted:
- Under no circumstances should dogs be left unattended.
- Dogs MUST remain in swim boundaries or walked by owner on a lead.
- Keep dogs away from the otter fencing between the hours of dusk-till-dawn.
- Pick up all mess
- No wading. In places the water is deep. Deep water is dangerous.
- Have warders or long wellies to land fish in shallow water
- All Anglers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency rod licence and must show them on demand to agents acting on behalf of the Environment Agency.
- No rowing boats allowed on the water at any time.
- No fish to be introduced or removed
- Report all crack offs or snagged fish immediately
- Call bailiff if a fish is snagged to request using the boat to land
- No rods to be left unattended or left under the supervision of another angler. Your rods – your responsibility.
- All anglers should carry a carp care anaesthetic (Propolis is ideal).
- Should it be difficult to remove a hook, anglers should have suitable snippers to cut the hook-point. Damage to the fish will be minimised in this way.
- Anglers should have a bucket filled with fresh cold lake water for captures
- All anglers should a large soft-walled cradle and net suitable for specimen sized fish.
- All anglers should have their own weigh sling and scales. NO FISH TO BE RETAINED for longer than 15 minutes – instant ban.
- No sacking of fish or use of a floatation sling overnight.
- No angler should ever be standing or squatting with a fish please kneel only for pictures .
- Cradles and slings should be used to safely return any captures.
- Fish must be rested in the net for 10 minutes min before being removed from the water for weighing and pictures, please slow down (have a brew!) before lifting fish out. Do not have them out more then 5 min .
- All fish captures over 30 lb to be photographed on both sides and pics sent to a Bailiff please – ask for help when you have a big fish if you can please from other anglers or bailiffs
- No plastic hook baits
- No nuts
- No maggots/caster between 1st April- 1st November
- No shelf-life boilies – fresh bait can be supplied at Arrow meadow pools and the Estate lake
- Mainline minimum 0.35mm
- NO FIXED LEADS
- No lead core
- No braid except for marker/spod rod
- 1 zig only
- *Under NO CIRMCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE enter any of our waters FOR ANY REASON at all. Anyone caught doing so will immediately have their access revoked and will be asked to leave the venue. This applies to both exclusive hire and syndicate venues. Arrow Meadow Fishery will NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY for any accidents, injuries or loss incurred.

- Arrow Meadow Fisheries DO NOT accept liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, injury to members, guests, equipment, or dogs whilst on any of our waters’.
- Arrow Meadow Fisheries reserve the right to change the rules at any time, anyone found breaking these rules are subject to having their membership revoked without refund.
